 The Adaptive Learn to Turn Program will be returning to Ski Campgaw for the 2013-2014 ski season. We are very excited to be able to offer adaptive ski lessons again this year. We look forward to seeing you. Stay tuned as we work to update our website.

Campgaw Mountain is excited to be offering skiing and snowboarding lessons to individuals with Developmental Delays & Visual Impairments. The Adaptive Learn to Turn program is looking forward to creating learning opportunities and experiences for individuals who are otherwise unable to participate in such recreational opportunities. The Learn to Turn program values each person's unique strengths and are committed to fostering a "can do" culture by "focusing on what you can do!"  

The Learn to Turn Program is managed by Adam DeMuth. Mr. DeMuth is a Professional Ski Instructor of America (PSIA) Adaptive Level III / Alpine Level III Certified Instructor. Mr. DeMuth's previous work was with the Adaptive Sports Foundation at Windham Mountain, the largest adaptive program on the east coast where he was the Assistant Program Director. Mr DeMuth also teaches canoeing and kayaking to people with disabilities and is certified through the American Canoe Association with an Adaptive Paddling Endorsement. He has ten years experience in the field of adaptive sports and recreation. 

The Learn to Turn program is also supported by Katherine Sereduk, the Adaptive Educational Director. Ms. Sereduk is a former Ski Instructor at Stowe and also is a former NYC Public School Teacher with experience in Special Education. Mr. DeMuth and Ms.Sereduk believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the sensations of sliding on snow, with the wind in your face. The Adaptive Learn to Turn Program lessons are 1.5 hours with a qualified instructor.  The lessons and times are based upon availability of the instructors and can be booked by calling (201) 327-7800 or emailing Adam DeMuth or Katherine Sereduk: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Also, please click on this link to download a student information form. This will allow Campgaw instructors to develop a comprehensive lesson plan so that each participant can have a successful on snow experience.

Please make sure to leave your name, phone number, and the date and time of your scheduled lesson. All customers will receive confirmation of cancellation.

Cancellations are required 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson time.  If the lesson is cancelled less than 24 hours in advanced we will be able to reschedule the lesson for a future date.  If the lesson is not cancelled and there is a no show for the scheduled time, the customer will be charged for 50% of the lesson portion.
