The Adaptive Learn to Turn Program will be returning to Ski Campgaw for the 2013-2014 ski season. We are very excited to be able to offer adaptive ski lessons again this year. We look forward to seeing you. Stay tuned as we work to update our website.
Campgaw Mountain is excited to be offering skiing and snowboarding lessons to individuals with Developmental Delays & Visual Impairments. The Adaptive Learn to Turn program is looking forward to creating learning opportunities and experiences for individuals who are otherwise unable to participate in such recreational opportunities. The Learn to Turn program values each person's unique strengths and are committed to fostering a "can do" culture by "focusing on what you can do!"
The Learn to Turn Program is managed by Adam DeMuth. Mr. DeMuth is a Professional Ski Instructor of America (PSIA) Adaptive Level III / Alpine Level III Certified Instructor. Mr. DeMuth's previous work was with the Adaptive Sports Foundation at Windham Mountain, the largest adaptive program on the east coast where he was the Assistant Program Director. Mr DeMuth also teaches canoeing and kayaking to people with disabilities and is certified through the American Canoe Association with an Adaptive Paddling Endorsement. He has ten years experience in the field of adaptive sports and recreation.

Also, please click on this link to download a student information form. This will allow Campgaw instructors to develop a comprehensive lesson plan so that each participant can have a successful on snow experience.
Cancellations are required 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson time. If the lesson is cancelled less than 24 hours in advanced we will be able to reschedule the lesson for a future date. If the lesson is not cancelled and there is a no show for the scheduled time, the customer will be charged for 50% of the lesson portion.
