Dave Hirschberg
Dave Hischberg is the Snowboard Coordinator. Dave has been teaching at Campgaw for many years. He began instructing here at Campgaw in 1990 and took over as the Snowboard Director in 1994. Dave was also the Snowboard Race Director for the Rattler Race Team as well as the Snowboard Technical Director for North Jersey Cross Training from 1994 – 2000. From 2001-2003 he was the Snowboard Director at Mt. Peter as well as the Developmental Director for the Mt Peter Race Team of New Jersey.

John Nielsen
John Nielsen has been involved with New Jersey ski racing for the past 12 years. He has served as a PSIA ski instructor, JV coach for the Rattlers of New Jersey, JV Coach for the Mt. Peter race team of New Jersey, and JIV-JV coach for Camelback race team in Pennsylvania. He has been the NJ state coach for the JV regional race at Gunstock, plus has been the program coach for the JI-JII FIS races, JI-JII Finals, JIII Junior Olympics, JIII Finals, JIV Future Stars, and in 2004, was nominated Coach of the Year for the State of New Jersey.

Naga Kusumi
Naga is a welcome addition to our racing staff. He is a world class racer and coach. In 1992, he raced for Japan at the Albertville Olympics. From 1989-1999 he was a speed skier and became Japan’s National Champion for speed skiing from 1990-1996. In his World Cup experience he set a FIS official speed record of 150.5 mph. Presently he is coaching at Hunter Mountain as well as Campgaw.
