ADAPTIVE LESSONS

Campgaw Mountain is proud to offer an Adaptive Program for children and adults with cognitive, visual, developmental, and physical disabilities who want to learn how to ski or snowboard. From first-timers to experienced shredders, our staff of PSIA Alpine Adaptive certified instructors can help anyone at any level.

Our Adaptive season will run from Saturday, January 4th through mid-March, 2025 (dependent on snow conditions).

Lesson times are 9:30am, 11am, 1:30pm or 3pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Weekday lessons are available by special arrangement after 2pm. The 90-minute lessons are individually booked and are private. Advanced reservations are mandatory. No walk-in lessons are available.

We need to have the attached STUDENT FORM returned for evaluation before we can schedule any lessons. Kindly fill out the form (returning students, too) and email it back to adaptivecampgaw@gmail.com. We especially need your child’s height and weight! Let us know in your email your top three preferred lesson days/times.

Lesson Bundle #1:

$219 which includes 90-minute lesson, snow pass, rental equipment and any adaptive equipment needed.

Lesson Bundle #2 with 2024-25 Season Pass:

$159 which includes 90-minute lesson, and any adaptive equipment needed.

PAYMENT: Prepayment is now required. After the lesson is confirmed through the Adaptive email, you will receive a confirmation email with a code from Campgaw Customer Service with payment instructions. PREPAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED IN ORDER FOR THE LESSON TO BE BOOKED. You are now able to pay in advance for multiple lessons.

CANCELLATIONS: 48-hour cancellation prior to lesson will be refunded in full. Cancellations after that time will be refunded minus a $30 fee. If mountain closes due to weather, lessons can be rescheduled or refunded.

The student is responsible for bringing their own skis, or board, boots, and helmet to the lesson. Rentals (which are included in your lesson) are available at Campgaw. If you need equipment, please allow at least 45 minutes on the day of your lesson to get through rentals prior to starting the lesson. If you are planning on taking more than three lessons for the season, we strongly advise getting seasonal rentals. Seasonal rental equipment prices are listed here. We also recommend Mount Everest Ski Shop in Westwood/Ridgewood or Ski Barn in Paramus.

Note: If anyone in your household is sick or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, be considerate/responsible and please stay home.
